Coming from the NORTH. Leaving
Coffs Harbour travel south for 25kms. You will pass through the Pine Creek
State Forest. Exit the Pacific Highway BEFORE the township of Urunga.
This exit is well sign posted and illuminated at night. Travel 14km due
west on the Waterfall Way into Bellingen. Turn left at the intersection
of Hyde Street (which is part of the Waterfall Way) and Church Street.
There is an LJHooker franchise at this intersection. Travel south on Church
Street for 500m, turn left into Watson Street, then right into Rawson
Street (look for blue tourist signs to Koompartoo Retreat). Go to the
end of Rawson Street and look for a large Koompartoo Retreat sign. Follow
the driveway to reception. <TOP>
Coming from the SOUTH. Exit
the Pacific Highway shortly after Urunga (pass the Tourist Information
Centre, cross the bridge at Urunga and continue for 1500m). Travel 14km
due west on the Waterfall Way into Bellingen. Turn left at the intersection
of Hyde Street (which is part of the Waterfall Way) and Church Street.
There is an LJHooker franchise at this intersection. Travel south on Church
Street for 500m, turn left into Watson Street, then right into Rawson
Street (look for blue tourist signs to Koompartoo Retreat). Go to the

Coming
from the WEST. From Armidale or Dorrigo you descend the steep winding
road from Dorrigo to the floor of the Bellinger Valley. You will pass
the Thora Store on the left 15kms from Dorrigo. The drive to Bellingen
is another 14kms. Turn right at the intersection of Hyde Street (which
is part of the Waterfall Way) and Church Street. There is an LJHooker
franchise at this intersection. Travel south on Church Street for 500m,
turn left into Watson Street, then right into Rawson Street (look for
blue tourist signs to Koompartoo Retreat). Go to the end of Rawson Street
and look for a large Koompartoo Retreat sign. Follow the driveway to reception.

Koompartoo is only a short walk to the heart of Bellingen with
its cafés,
clothing stores
and markets (3rd
Saturday of every month).
Medical care, a pharmacist, pubs, clubs and sporting facilities
are all close at hand and easily accessed from Koompartoo Retreat.
Off street parking is available.
